Can time be defined?
Some people like to quantify time in seconds, minutes, hours, or days.
In other words, they are counting time, but can time be counted?
I like to believe u can only make time to count, but u can’t count time, because time is much more than calendars and clocks.
Is time really money?
Time is much more valuable than money, for money is man-made and has a history.
Time on the other hand is God-given and has no history.
Wages and salaries reward people for their time, but can you buy time?
If it was possible, the rich wouldn’t die, hence we can’t keep saying time is money.
The saying time is given equally to all men in my opinion, is a fallacy.
Time is given to all men, but is it given equally?
What you achieve with yours is left to you and the heavens.
Time heals all, but can all things be healed?
What about the things that get worse with time?
Isn’t it funny how time flies when you’re making it count?
And how slow it is when you’re counting it.
but can it really be counted?
Time is not just about every second ticking of the clock, the clock only tells a part of the time, time is much older than clocks.
Clocks stop to work, some run late while some run fast, but does time ever stop or run late?
We buy clocks but we can’t buy time.
How interesting?
Can you separate change from time and time from change?
Time brings about the changes and the change happens in time.
Therefore they compliment each other, but even with time, some things don’t change.
But nothing changes without time.
Time has seen the birth and death of many greats.
Time has seen the rise and fall of many great empires.
but no one can see the fall of time.
Where does this leave time?
Can we say Time is good or bad?
It has seen the rise of good and evil.
It has been gracious to bad people more often than to good people.
Yet we still hope for more of it.
Time certainly doesn’t age, but it tells on the aged.
Time qualifies old and young.
But can we say time is young or old?
Isn’t time the greatest asset given to man by the creator?
So great that we can’t control it, we can’t own it.
we can only use it.
we can’t have it back once gone,
It’s easily wasted but never exhausted.
For it will still be there even after we are gone,
hence the saying, time waits for no man.
Time talks to no one but we say time will tell.
If only time could talk, even in its silence it tells history.
What is time to love and time to love?
Love takes time to grow or die but does time depend on love?
Time depends on nothing, everything that has a beginning and an end,
Everything is bounded by time but what bounds time?
Some mark time in numbers i.e. minutes, hours, dates,
Some mark time in moments.
But can you mark time?
